Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: September 21, 2026
In plain language: some of the links on Mostly Mindful are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission. This costs you nothing extra — the price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go directly to the retailer.
Amazon Associates
Mostly Mindful is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
Why we do this
Affiliate commissions are one of the ways this site stays running and independent. They let us keep the content free to read without covering it in intrusive ads. We only link to products we would genuinely recommend regardless of whether they earn a commission — the affiliate relationship doesn't change our opinion of a product, only whether we're compensated for the recommendation.
How to spot these links
Where a post contains affiliate links, we include a short disclosure notice near the top of that post. Affiliate links may also appear within product mentions, buying guides, and "recommended" sections throughout the Site.
Other affiliate programs
In addition to the Amazon Associates Program, we may participate in other affiliate or referral programs and may earn commissions through those partnerships as well. The same principle applies: any commission we might earn does not influence our editorial recommendations.
FTC compliance
This disclosure is provided in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines concerning the use of endorsements and testimonials in advertising, 16 CFR Part 255. If you have questions about a specific link or recommendation, feel free to reach out through our Contact page.
